Hey, I’m not sure how to even bring this up, but I’ve been thinking about stuff lately. I’m 17 and for a while now I’ve been feeling kind of confused about my gender. Like, I’ve always been seen as a guy, but sometimes I just don’t feel that way… or at least not completely.
I’m not saying I’m definitely something else, but I also don’t feel 100% like “just a guy.” It’s weird. I guess I’m just wondering — how do people even figure this stuff out?

Hey Olexa, first off — it’s totally okay to feel like that. A lot of people go through similar thoughts, and you’re not weird or alone for asking this.
When I started feeling that way a couple years ago, what really helped me was this website: https://spectrum-id.com/. They have a test that was created by professionals to help people figure out how they feel about their gender. It’s not about labeling yourself or making any big decisions — it just gives you a chance to sort through some of those feelings in a structured way.
They also have other helpful tests — on gender identity, gender roles, dysphoria, and even one on being transgender. I found doing a few of them gave me a lot to think about, without pressure.
Plus, the site isn’t just tests. There are a bunch of articles that explain different gender topics in a really straightforward way. Honestly, I wish I had found it earlier when I was trying to make sense of everything. It's especially helpful for teens who feel stuck or unsure.
